Bentley News
DAVID HAYE is dishing out some Va Va Boom for Bentley by
becoming the new face of the luxury supercar giants.

Britain's world heavyweight champion collected his free £155,000
shimmering black Continental GT convertible from London's Jack
Barclay showroom a few days ago.
But he will also be one of the first to own the Crewe-based
company's flagship £220,000 Mulsanne motor when he takes delivery of
his own customised model in the Spring.
And Haye plans to make that car even more special - by having
images of his deadly rival Vitali Klitschko and defeated giant
Nikolai Valuev hand painted on the leather seats!

Bentley Continental GT Hauled Away In West Hollywood
Continental GTC hauled away on a flatbed (which
Bentley folks tell us is the correct way to have your vehicle towed
so as not to void your warranty) yesterday in West Hollywood
The heiress was exiting the parking structure
which "is brightly lit so she had not noticed that her
headlights were not activated." As she drove a few blocks, she
was confronted by other bright lights Paris was speeding down
Sunset Blvd. without headlights. She was pulled over and
deputies discovered she was driving with a suspended license...
She was cited and her 2007 Blue Bentley was impounded."
One more picture of the trunk of the Bentley
being hauled off below the jump to match Paris pulling some of her
junk out of that trunk above.

Bentley Owner has his Car
Stolen
A man born in 1963 reported to the police yesterday around noon
that his 2007 Bentley Continental GT had been stolen from his own
home in a secure garage and drive way in Riga on the night from
December 23 to December 24 in the early hours.
The "Bentley" was equipped with car alarm and fully insured.
A criminal Police case has been opened and authorities say
they have a lead.

There's a VW in this Bentley and I
wish they'd get it out

The man from Budleigh Salterton council was adamant.
“Of course it’ll be all right,” he said. “People take their cars on
to the beach all the time. Don’t worry, it’s surprisingly firm.”
Beaches are never surprisingly firm. If anything, I’d say they’re
surprisingly un-firm. It doesn’t matter whether they’re made of
shale, shingle, grit, sand or big slabs of volcanic rock, they’ll
munch you up and hold you fast until the tide can come along to
finish you off.
Over the years I’ve had to dig countless cars off various beaches
around the world. A Corrado in south Wales. A Saab Turbo in St
Tropez. And most notably of all, a massive Lamborghini LM002 on
Hayling Island.
But I never learn. So I drove the £110,000 Bentley Continental GT
onto the shale at Budleigh Salterton thinking that its
four-wheel-drive system would get me off again. And with the words
of the man from the council ringing in my ears: “If it does get
stuck, we’ve got a man with a tractor.”
Great. Except when it did get bogged down, the man with the tractor
had gone home

The 53-year-old Texan had his pick of elite vehicles like
Rolls-Royce and Bentley:
when he bought his new ride in
September 2009. The Maybach didn't get a second look once he had
driven The Bentley GT.
"The Maybach looks way too close to a
Lincoln to spend that kind of money," said Teague, who owns a
health-supplement company and opted for a
Bentley Continental GT. "I was looking for a combination of
sport, exotic, luxury in a coupe. I don't think the Maybach had
anything really close."
Maybach, with models starting at $358,000, is failing to mount a
challenge to Bayerische Motoren Werke AG's (BAMXY:US)
Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen AG's Bentley. The struggle weighs on
Stuttgart, Germany-based Daimler because defeat may reflect on
Mercedes- Benz and hamper Chief Executive Officer
